FSSAI has entered into an agreement with Thermofisher Scientific India Ltd. on 03.05.2018 for establishment of the Food Safety Solution Centre at FSSAIs premises located at FRSL, Ghaziabad to further research and to provide demonstration and training in the field of food safety. Partnership with Merck
For the purpose of building a world class laboratory for skill development of food analysts and other research, FSSAI and Merck signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 12.07.2018 to develop a state-of-the-art laboratory called "Centre for Microbiological Analysis Training" or C-MAT.
Partnership with Association of Analytical Chemists (AOAC)
A MoU with AOAC was signed on 05.02.2018 for accessing AOAC official methods and permission to reproduce methods which will avoid copyright issues. This will benefit FSSAI for further updating of its manuals with latest analytical advancements.
Partnership with National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM)
An MoU was signed between FSSAI and NIFTEM on 05.11.2017 initially for a period of 5 years. This memorandum covers the o-operation between the Parties to identify, recognize and mutually collaborate in areas of common concern to the Parties that are vital for a robust food safety and nutrition eco-system in the country. Partnership with Global Food Safety Partnership (GFSP) and Export Inspection Council (EIC)
GFSP is a training partner of FSSAI for specialized training programs. A number of specialized training had been conducted in collaboration with GFSP for master trainers on analysis of Pesticides Residues, Mycotoxins, Veterinary drug residues (VDR) including antibiotics etc.
An MoU has been signed amongst GFSP, FSSAI and EIC on 04.09.2017 for setting up of hands on training facility at ITC-FSAN, EIA-PTH Mumbai (International Training Centre on Food Safety and Applied Nutrition).
