The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (DVFA) under the Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark deals with food health and safety issues. An MoU on food safety cooperation has been signed between FSSAI and DVFA, Denmark in April 2018. Read More...

The French Agency for Food, Environment and Occupational health & Safety (ANSES) is a scientific body contributing in ensuring human health and safety in the field of environment, work and food as well as protecting animal health and welfare protecting plant health. A MoU was signed between FSSAI and ANSES, France for cooperation in the area of food safety in January 2016. Read More

A Joint Statement of Intent (JSI) has been signed between FSSAI and BfR and BVL of Germany on cooperation in food safety in October, 2015. BfR (The Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) is the risk assessment agency in Germany while BVL (the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety) is responsible for risk communication and risk management. The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) of New Zealand provides policy and regulatory advice, market access and trade services, and manages major regulatory systems of biosecurity, food safety, forestry, fisheries management, and animal welfare. A cooperation arrangement between FSSAI and MPI, New Zealand for cooperation in areas of food safety was signed in October, 2016. Read More
