Standards of Chocolate are specified in sub Regulation “2.7.4 of FSS(FP & FA) Regulations,2011, where use of vegetable fat other than cocoa butter up-to 5 % of the finished products is allowed in Chocolate . The source of vegetable fat and its requirements have also been prescribed in this regulation subject to have the following label declaration in bold: “CONTAINS VEGETABLE FAT IN ADDITION TO COCOA BUTTER”
