Labels of every pre-packaged food shall contain: the name of food, list of ingredients, nutritional information, declaration regarding Veg & Non-Veg, food additives, name & address of the manufacturer, net quantity, lot/batch number, date of manufacture or packing, best before and use by/expiry date, country of origin for imported food and instructions for use where applicable.
