Who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided on the label?

The food business operator (FBO) under whose name the food is marketed is the operator responsible for the food information. FBOs must not knowingly sell food that is not compliant with the Regulations, even if they are not responsible for the labelling of the food.
