Each FSW/MFTL has a number of equipment like Rapid milk screening apparatus, Digital balance, Digital Multi-parameter Hand Held Meter (pH, conductivity, TDS and Temperature), Digital Refractometer-portable, Hot plate, Hot air oven, and mixer grinder (small), etc. and is capable of on the spot qualitative testing of common adulterants in Milk-milk products, Edible fats & oils, Spices and various other food products. It also has the provision for utilizing rapid microbiological test kits, if the states wish to do so.
