FAE consists of three papers Paper-I, II & III. Paper I & II are theory papers each of 2 hours duration containing 100 questions in each paper. Candidates who qualify both Paper I and Paper II (theory papers of FAE) only appear in Paper–III, which is practical examination. Upon qualifying Paper III, a candidate is declared as qualified Food Analyst.
