The laboratory may be intimated through letter/email.Also all the Gazette Notifications are placed on the website of FSSAI, anyone can download these notifications through FSSAI website.
Does FSSAI recognize and notify International laboratories as well?
Yes, FSSAI only recognize (not notifies) International laboratories to ensure the quality of Imported food products, to ease and facilitate import of food commodities.
Does FSSAI have the system of audit?
As of now FSSAI perform desktop audit only before recognition/notification. However, it may also go for preliminary audit as well as surprise audit depending upon the status of the laboratory, as found on scrutiny of the application file or performance after recognition/notification.
How much time does the FSSAI take in deciding the approval or rejection of any food laboratory after the complete submission of proposal/ documents?
The applications received for recognition are scrutinized and if found suitable for recognition, then the laboratory will be approved for recognition. What is the benefit of FAE?
FAE is a qualifying examination for candidates working in the field of food testing and analysis. It gives an opportunity for candidates to apply for employment as Food analyst in Government/private sector food laboratories.This examination is not for providing direct employment by FSSAI.

Is there any reservation for FAE?
There is no reservation in whatsoever form since this is not for direct employment.
