- Can we feed a future population of 10 billion people a healthy diet within planetary boundaries?
- To answer this question, EAT gathered 37 of the planet’s foremost experts who, for the first time ever, propose scientific targets for what constitutes a healthy diet from a sustainable food system. This groundbreaking report was launched in Oslo, Norway on 17th January 2019. Since then this report has been released in over 25 countries. Now this report is being released in New Delhi, India on 4th April 2019.
- This event is being organized by FSSAI with the support of Tasting India and Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). All important stakeholders in the food ecosystem from Government officials to schools, colleges, Development Partners, Professional Associations, Nutritionists, Industry Partners, Start-ups, Representatives from Embassies will be attending the event.
- The release event in India aims to spark conversations on the key issues of the report among all stakeholders and deliberate on the five global strategies recommended in the report to bring about the 'Great Food Transformation'.
