Indian Food Culture - Let bring the goodness back is a collaborative project by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) along with other government organizations, celebrity chefs, food historians, columnists, food bloggers, and street food associations, to curate, share and popularize knowledge on Indian Food Culture and engage people to make more informed food choices.
The project aims at promoting regional cuisines and connecting people with their rich cultural past. The aim is to promote safe & wholesome food through our distinct culinary identity and connect people with their rich cultural past. The objective is to showcase and disseminate knowledge about our local culinary talents and heritage cuisines.
The key initiatives under this project are:
A central database for all local, regional and seasonal food recipes
State wise mapping of regional and local cuisines & Developing State Food Repositories
Assimilation of all the food related data onto one platform
Share food, its history and stories
Join the network of Food Bloggers, find the latest Food stories, Festivals and Food hubs.
