CAC is Central Advisory Committee of the Food Authority. The CAC shall ensure close co-operation between the Food Authority and the enforcement agencies and organizations operating in the field of food. The CAC shall advise the Food Authority on the performance of its duties and in particular in drawing up of a proposal for the work programme by Food Authority, the prioritization of work, identifying potential risks, pooling of knowledge, and such other functions as may be specified by regulations.
