DFS has been mandated in ICDS and MDM programmes across the country as of 10th July and 2nd August 2017 respectively. States such as Tripura, Tamil Nadu are providing DFS in ICDS and MDM programmes. DFS is supplied in ICDS in Andhra Pradesh and in MDM programmes in 18 states as and when it is available. DFS in PDS is in the pipeline in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand.
