During the verify credentials the camera switches on, what should I do using FoSCoRIS?
Yes, when you click on verify yourself the camera app will get active. You may choose the front camera and click a selfie of yours. This goes into the FoSCoRIS records.
What should be the resolution of the front camera ?
The lower the better. A lower resolution would be a good option.
Is there any alternate to writing the nonconformance and the comment in the individual section under FoSCoRIS?
Yes, one can speak his/her observation if he or she is not comfortable in writing the non-conformance and comments in FoSCoRIS
How can a Commissioner of State, Designated Officer i.e. DO or Food Safety Officer i.e. FSO login on FoSCoRIS ?
A DO or an FSO can log in from the landing page having verified the credentials. There is state wise login of F.S.O. and DO using their User Id and Password.
Does FoSCoRIS have legal implication ?

Is there any provision for the small retailers for keeping their organic food products distinguishable from the conventional food products in their shops?
There is a provision in the Regulations that all the organic products needs to be displayed distinguishable from conventional foods at the shelves. The small retailers may distinguish them by placing stickers on the shelves.
The organic foods should comply with which other standards besides food safety parameters?
Besides Food Safety parameters, the organic foods should comply with the requirements of various parameters covered under the Food Safety and Standards or Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011.
What a FBO is required to do if he wants to start with new organic food business?
The FBO should be certified with either NPOP or PGS-India before applying under FSSAI Registration/License.
What is the date of compliance to Organic Food Regulations?

A consumer should always check that the Organic Foods are not labelled as – Genetically modified organisms or Genetic engineered Irradiated foods or Natura” or Green foods.
