The labelling on the article of food shall be in accordance with the Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations, 2011. Which products are covered under the scope of direction for Diet4life initiative
The products covered under the scope of this direction are special foods intended for infants and young children suffering from IEM and allergenic conditions as listed in the Annexure to the direction.
Will these foods for IEM disorders and hypoallergenic formula for allergenic conditions fall under the scope of Second Schedule (for standard pack sizes) under Legal Metrology rules?
No. As per order vide WM-19(60)/2016 dated 14.12.2016 of Legal Metrology Division, Ministry of Consumers Affairs, Food and Public Distribution the pack sizes prescribed in the Second Schedule of Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules 2011 are not applicable for products covered under this directive till 14.12.2017.
What Diet 4 Life Project initiates? What is the aim of this initiative by the FSSAI?
Project Diet 4 life plans to initiate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Workshops for healthcare professionals across India. The aim of CPDs is to train doctors and nutritionists for treatment and management of IEM conditions. Mapping of screening facilities will be initiated so that patients can be referred for screening without loss of time.

How many times can the inspection be rescheduled?
An Inspection can be rescheduled as many times.
Can we randomly start any section irrespective of the sequence given?
Yes, you may start filling sections randomly but you cannot skip any section or sub-section.
What details are required for inspection form under FoSCoRIS?
FBO License Number; FBO Category, Name and Address, Name of Representative
What all activities can be performed in the view section?
One can only view the report along with the date, time ,location and report Id however no editing can be done while viewing the report.
