The Training and Awareness Program for Street Food Vendors was organized by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India on 20 July, 2024 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi

FSSAI conducted two knowledge sessions on 4th November 2023 during the World Food India (WFI) 2023, organised by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries from 3rd- 5th November 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. FSSAI also participated in the WFI exhibition and demonstrated various online platforms like Food Safety Compliance System (FoSCoS), Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC), Food Testing and other programs to ensure compliance of food safety standards in the country.

Eat Right Summit 2023 was organized at Vigyan Bhawan, Delhi under the aegis of Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on 31st October 2023. The theme of this summit was ‘Shri Anna’ in view of the ongoing International Year of Millets 2023. Shri Sudhansh Pant, Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and Chairman, FSSAI and Shri G. Kamala Vardhana Rao, Chief Executive Officer, FSSAI and many health and nutrition experts participated and expressed their valuable views in the day-long summit.

The Global Food Regulators Summit 2023 was organized by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on 20th and 21st July, 2023 at Manekshaw Auditorium, New Delhi, to create a global platform of food regulators to exchange perspectives on strengthening food safety systems and regulatory framework across the food value chain.

Hon’ble Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya released the State Food Safety Index (an annual assessment) as part of the World Food Safety Day celebrations organized by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), held on June 7, 2023, at VigyanBhawan, New Delhi.

FSSAI, under the aegis of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), organized a conference with technical sessions on promotion and awareness of Millets on 18th and 19th of March, 2023. There were 17 international and 23 national speakers at the conference.

Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI)organized ‘Cultural Bonanza 2022’ to celebrate its foundation day on 05th September 2022 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
